A STATEMENT FROM REED EXHIBITIONS – ORGANIZERS OF INFOSECURITY MEXICO

April ., 2021, Mexico City. Reed Exhibitions Mexico today announced that the Infosecurity Mexico event, scheduled May 20 and 21, will now take place to September 22 and 23, 2020 at Centro Citibanamex. This is due to the escalation of the COVID-19 crisis in Mexico and around the world.

The announcement was made following extensive consultation with all stakeholders and in alignment with the advice from the Mexican public health authorities regarding travel to and from impacted countries, and the public authority´s advice to restrict gatherings of 100 people or more.

Infosecurity Mexico is an interactive event that offers a high-level educational program, networking and profitable business opportunities for the cybersecurity and IT community.

Commenting on the announcement, Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Show Director, stated, “All our thoughts are with those impacted by COVID-19. Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of everyone at our event. We are confident that our rescheduled show will live up to the high standards participants have come to expect, and will provide a vital service to the industry.

Now more than ever, with increased cybersecurity challenges due to the massive amount of remote and home working, we need to  continue to offer businesses, networking, collaboration, and educational opportunities, and create ways for the cybersecurity community to connect in order to keep the industry moving forward during this difficult period”.
